The seeds for DirtCred were planted around 2008 when artist and event designer Jess Flood started "dreaming of dirt." A while later her husband Nick Papadopoulos - social entrepreneur, consultant and wandering wordsmith with innovation surplus disorder- joined Jess and started pitching in on their family's farm, Bloomfield Organics.
